Who this site is for

This site is mainly for employers, schools, teachers and other adults. Students can read employer pages and try the career quiz, but students never create accounts or give us their details. The quiz does not ask for a name, email or school, and quiz answers are not saved. Accounts are created only by invitation, for School Summit staff and licensed employer contacts.

We only use these details to reply to you, to arrange what you asked for, and to manage our relationship with your organisation. We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for advertising.

Our legal basis

We use your details because it is in our legitimate interests to reply to enquiries and to run our service for organisations and schools, or because it is needed for a contract with your organisation.

Who we share it with

Our website, database and email are run by service providers who process data for us under contract. We do not share your details with employers or other organisations without telling you first.

How long we keep it

Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact with you. Customer records: for as long as the law requires for business and tax records.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or object to how we use them. Email rachel@bellmedia.ie and we will reply within one month. If you are not happy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (UK, ico.org.uk) or the Data Protection Commission (Ireland, dataprotection.ie).

Cookies and similar technology

The site does not use advertising or visitor-tracking cookies, and no visitor analytics service is installed. It stores a small item in your browser to remember that you dismissed the storage notice. If you sign in, essential account-session information is stored in your browser to keep you signed in.

Within a browser tab, the site can also remember a selected hub audience, a private hub-preview code and dismissed enquiry prompts. These items expire when the tab or browser session ends. Anonymous hub totals record only the hub, page or destination link, event type and time for page visits, Try the Job starts and completions, and apply-link clicks. They do not use cookies or identify a visitor, and Try the Job answers are not saved.

The Cal.com booking tool is currently switched off. If enabled on a booking page later, that page will connect to Cal.com and this notice will be reviewed before it goes live.

Changes

We will update this page if anything changes.
